The Truth About Trust
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
Luscious, green, strong, tall, well-nourished, over-arching—those are the words that come to mind every time I read this verse. This portrait of trust can only be produced over the course of time through an intimate relationship with the Lord.
Our sincere willingness to depend solely upon the God strategically positions us to receive the needed nourishment to prosper, grow, and thereby walk in our greatest potential.

Extending, Expanding, Enlarging
God hasn’t promised that life would be free from adversity. But He has promised to give us the tools to see things from His perspective and be victorious in our day to day life. Prayer helps us to develop a closer relationship with God. The Bible provides us with instructions to guide us in His ways and be successful. And the Holy Spirit empowers us with the needed strength to flourish.
Emotional Stability
Trusting God doesn't mean we won’t experience emotional hardships, but in the face of fear and anxiety, we will be strengthened to live life with continued confidence in God’s plan and purpose.
Ever Green
Always giving….Truth is, God has generously given to us and we should follow His lead. Forgiveness, resources, kindness, grace, encouragement—just to name a few, are all things we should be willing to impart upon others because God has given us the same.
