A Thankful Heart

November 4, 2025

Can you believe it?  November already! Soon it will be Thanksgiving—then, Christmas—then...2026. I'm already thinking about the holiday meals.

Truth is, with everything we’ve been going through this year, we're tremendously blessed by an amazing God. So, let's challenge ourselves to consider all that we're thankful for—the people and the things (things visible and invisible).

When we look at all that God has done for us our actions should reflect our dedication, admiration, and willingness to glorify Him as Lord, Savior, and Creator of the Universe.

Romans 1:21 reminds us of this,

...because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Simply knowing God is not enough. Our thankfulness to God must be from the heart and demonstrated daily as an act of our willingness to please Him.

Join us over the next few weeks as we challenge ourselves to "Be Thankful" by counting our blessings and giving honor where honor is due. This month's posts will remind us to take a glimpse at what thankfulness and thoughtfulness look like and encourage us to take time to evaluate the attributes of a thankful heart.

We challenge you to "Be Thankful..." from the heart.
