Be Careful, Prayerful, and Thankful

November 19, 2020

Be Careful

Thanksgiving Day is one week away. Many of us are finalizing our plans to enjoy a wonderful time with our family and friends. Be Careful. The COVID virus rates are increasing all over the world and especially within our United States. Medical professionals are encouraging us to stay home and celebrate only with those we live with.

Be Prayerful

Continue to pray for our government officials, many of whom are doing the best they can to manage this pandemic. Send a special prayer out for those who continue to work tirelessly in the medical field to care for those ailing with the Corona Virus and it’s after effects. Consider others who work in essential positions to serve our community by providing resources we need and use on a daily basis.

Be Thankful

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (Psalms 118:1). God is worthy of our glory, honor, and praise in and for all things—even this. Give Him thanks forever.

Have Faith and walk in wisdom. It's better to be safe than sorry. Staying home this holiday season may ensure that someone is still around to enjoy the next one.

Remember to reduce your encounters with others as much as possible. When you have to be in the company of others keep a safe distance of at least six feed. Wear a mask—not under the chin, but so that it covers the nose and mouth.

Be Careful, Prayerful, and Thankful!
