Creating a better "ME".... When I'm willing to pay close attention, situations and circumstances have a way of providing growth opportunities.
To bloom where I'm planted requires courage and strength. It also requires God's perspective. God is always at work to develop a more improved "me"—a me who will walk in His ways regardless.
Preparation. Determination. Education. These words provide focus and direction when working towards creating a better "ME". This includes being honest with myself (self-awareness), working to address personal shortcomings and address my sins (self-improvement), setting specific goals to become a better person (growth), and letting go of the things I can't change (wisdom).
I must utilize every experience as an opportunity to grow, increase my faith, and become more like God. This won't be pretty or perfect, but I'm up for the challenge.
March Gladness
As I approach the final week of March Gladness 2025, I'll focus on the following tips to "Bloom Where I'm Planted" :
Be Honest With Me, About ME (2 Timothy 1:7; Philippians 4:13; 3 John 1:2-3 )
- Identify any insecurities and sins; work to overcome them
- Fear
- Failure
- Forgiviness
- Become more in tuned with my mind, body, and spirit
- Physical
- Mental
- Spiritual
- Reach out to Godly women for help and be willing to give of myself
- Mentorship
- Encouragement
- Fellowship
Establish a proactive plan for my future (Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 25:14-28)
- Devotional
- Financial
- Educational
- Social
Philippians 4:6-8 reminds me of this, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."
