Seeds of Christmas Past

Following a star, the wisemen went in search of a Savior. Once they found Jesus, they offered gifts of their personal possessions. None was more valuable than their time and effort.

Today, worship is still the order of the day.

Matthew 2:1-2

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod theking, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, "Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him". 

• Wise men came to worship the King of kings
• They presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matt 2:11)
• Jesus is God’s gift of life to a sinful world

Wise men still worship the Savior. Over the next few days leading up to Chrismas, take time and make the effort needed to consider the aspects of true worship. What does your worship look like?
