Due Time

· Time Keeper

God is the the "real" Time Keeper. Alone, God controls the beginning of time, the end of time, and everything that falls in the middle. In due time, God put processes in place that calculated when the sun would rise, the would moon set, and the seasons would change.

Our job is to work within God’s framework of “due time” to manage our day-to-day—and even then, God is in charge of duly-timed events and circumstances that include those we wait for and those we don’t expect.

Romans 5:6 says this, “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.”

God’s due time is always based on His divine wisdom, purpose, and plan, not merely for our lives, but for mankind as a whole. God’s due time has eternal value and it’s never specific to individual satisfaction or comfort.

When we were without strength: Truth is, we're always without strength—all of the time. It's only through God’s strength that we are empowered to walk in ways that please God. In His own time (when the world was ready to receive), God sent His only Son, to die for the sins of men.

While time is always in God’s hand, each of us has the free-will to respond to God (or not). However, we never know when our time will expire. So, our due time is TODAY!

Accept God's gift of salvation while you still have time.
