As we conclude our series entitled, Bible Basics, here are a few more reminders of Bible examples of how real people hand life situations.
Eve: an example of the devil’s attempt to destroy God’s plan for our lives, temptation, and the consequences of disobedience (Genesis 3)
Widow at Zarephath: an example of how obedience and faith as she followed the direction of the prophet and received his promise that ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry" (1 Kings 17:8-16)
Jonah: is an example of how our unwillingness to follow God’s plan can lead us to experience dire consequences and God’s answer to our prayer for deliverance. (Jonah 1)
Jesus: is an example of God’slove for mankind. God sent is only Son (Jesus Christ) to die for our sins that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Saul/Paul Conversion: Saul’s conversion to Paul is an example of how we can be sincerely wrong. But when we have a pure heart to do what is right, God will speak to us to confirm His truth.
Regardless of your situation or circumstance the Bible is filled with examples of how real people handled life decisions—good, bad, or indifferent. Whether you agree or not, God's Word is the source of life and truth.
In my mind, the Bible is God’s Love Letters to mankind. Read the Letters!
