I’m different. And I’m good with being different. I love my natural mingled-gray hair and coffee-brown skin. I'm different. As a matter of fact, we're called to be just that—different.
Psalm 139:14 proclaims this, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
The Bible declares that I am peculiar (special, unique or unusual), different from the norm. I remember what God said....and I believe Him.
Sometimes, I’m a bit naïve. I prefer to sit in the front, I ask a lot of questions, and I never mind giving my opinion—I like me.
God created me to be different. My personality, background, upbringing, and experiences are uniquely designed to accomplish all that He has in mind. The bold, the best, and the beautiful—I like me and I’m glad God created me just the way I am.
Normally, I'm not so forth coming with acknowledging God's great work in creating me. As I develop a closer relationship with God, the more secure I become with Him, with myself, and with operating in the gifts God has given me for the task He has assigned.
Walking confidently in my own skin, I will honor God with and for my life. Praising God for my being, I will stand proudly and believe what He says about me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Thank you God! Everthing you created was good, including me.
