I’m glad God is in Control!
Sometimes, I think I'm in control, but that’s not true. While I am the master of my own decision-making, God is the only one who determines what really happens and how things pan out.
Yes… my decisions will have consequences but God is the only one who can accurately determine what the next step looks like.
I’m glad God is in control!
Even when I make mistakes or intentionally choose what’s contrary to God’s will, He is the only one who dictates the results.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” 1 Chronicles 16:31
I’m glad God is in control!
When I don’t know where I’m going or what I'm doing, I’m glad God is in control. He considers everything —timing, ignorance, intentions, mercy, grace, forgiveness— things I don’t even think about, He has already worked it out for my good.
While things may seem to be raging around me; while the government may seem to be in disarray; and while life may seem to be passing me by; I choose to remember that God is always in control.
Today and every day, I will join the heavens and the earth as they rejoice. I will join the nations in saying, “The Lord reigns!”
