When was the last time you saw a butterfly?
The metamorphosis process is our reminder that change is beautiful. It's also our reminder that God and His plan are perfect. He never changes.
Whatever changes we might be experiencing, we can rest assure that God remains the same. When we're challenged to make needed changes, we can always rely on the One who changes not.
God is loving, merciful, gracious, forgiving, and kind. He will never change.
God is always available to us. We can call out to Him at any time. He will never change.
God is waiting for us to seek His strength, His perspective, and His direction. He will never change.
God’s Holy Spirit is available to teach and direct, bringing us into an understanding of His truth and wisdom. He will never change.
God’s plan will never change. He desires that we would all know Him, love Him, and accept His Son, Jesus Christ as Savior. He will never change.
Hebrews 13:8 says this, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Today, Jesus sits at God’s right hand, interceding on our behalf. I'm grateful that He will never change.
Material gain is temporary. Eternal life is forever. True and meaningful change can only occur as a result of seeking the One who changes not.
The next time you see a butterfly remember this: (1) change is beautiful, (2) change is necessary, and (3) God is perfect—He never changes. Trust God. He alone is perfect.
