It’s Mind Right Monday….Hold fast to your faith.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana—I still call it home, so I can’t allow this day to go by unmentioned. Seventeen years ago today changed the lives of many people living in New Orleans and within 100 miles of my amazing city.
To top that off, one year ago on this very same day many other people were faced with yet another event that rocked lives a bit farther west.
So, today might be a solemn day for people in and around southeast and central Louisiana. If you have family and friends from Louisiana you are keenly aware that the months of August and September might iclude periods of high anxiety. Encourage them to hold fast to their faith.
New normals don’t catch God by surprise. He allows and even orchastrates them. Let’s embrace our new lives and all that it offers. Rest assured that God is in the plan and He is always near.
