The heart is intended to trust. The heart can’t hide. Pure, unadulterated, authentic, and vulnerable my heart must be offered willingly and without hesitation.
The heart is intended to trust. The heart can't hide. Like white on rice, my heart positions me to believe and depend on others based on what I know about them.
The heart is intended to trust. The heart can't hide.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says this, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Faith-packed, this scripture requires that I submit myself—body, mind, spirit, and heart—to God. Today, I surrender my thoughts, concerns, circumstances, and decisions too.
Intended to trust, my heart is designed to demonstrate confidence in God, love for God, and dependence upon God.
My heart is a secret place bearing my deepest emotions, fears, and passions. This vulnerable habitation is willingly offered to God without wavering. Open and unapologetic, I yeild the seat of my affections to my Creator, the All-Knowing, All-Powerful, and All-Mighty God.
Truth is, my understanding is limited. God works in ways that outwit human logic and outshines man's imagination every time. At best—well, there is no best, nothing close to best—should I attempt to compare myself to God. Only God is best. His ways are best, His plans are best, His Word is best. HE KNOWS BEST!
As I experience this journey called “life” I proclaim that God is the author and finisher of my faith. He knows the pitfalls and orchestrates the paths much better than I. Therefore, I will allow Him to lead me beyond what I can see, feel, or think.
My heart is intended to trust. My heart can't hide. My heart is open to receive all that God has to offer. I recognize that God is always in control and that He always has my best interest in mind. With each challenges I look to God to lead and guide me into all truth and experience the “Ls” as life lessons.
My heart is intended to trust. My heart can't hide.
