Let's Talk About Domestic Violence

September 7, 2022

Sisters Inspiring Sisters (SIS),

You are invited to attend a special presentation that will educate us on the topic of Domestic Violence.

Families in Trouble: Let’s Talk About Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence is real life. Many women and children suffer from the affects and aftermath of being associated with or victims of violent relationships and the abusive behaviors of others.

Education is the first step towards healing and helping. Join us for a one hour session designed to educate and inform us of the impact associated with Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Trauma Response.

This presentation will be facilitated by The Haven, a non-profit agency whose mission is to empower survivors of family violence and sexual assault to live safe, independent, and violence free lives. The Haven is dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence by changing the attitudes and beliefs in order for all people to live free from the threat of violence. For more information about The Haven, go to HavenHelps.org.

Let's continue to encourage and inspire our fellow sisters. It’s time to break the silence and be available to receive information that will help our families, our loved ones, and our friends.
