MIAW: Day 5

World Mental Health Day

· MIAW

It's World Mental Health Day. Today is an opportunity for everyone to consider the condition of their own mental health. Organizations around the world will be sending mesages that encourage us to take time to evaluate our mental health, support those with mental health conditions, and thank the people who provide resources and services that help us to improve our mental health.

Growing up, the people I loved and lived with never talked about seeing a therapist. That's so unfortunate. Many people I know (and the people around them) would have benefited greatly from professional help.

Therapy is not the devil and it doesn't replace God. AI says that therapy provides a supportive and structured environment for individuals to explore and address their mental health concerns. It aims to improve well-being and promote positive changes in thougthts, emotions, and behaviors. I love that definition. Thank a therapist!

People all over the world need help with mental health concerns. World Health Day is a reminder of the importance of good mental health and importance to prioritize our mental health. Today's reference is courtesy of the Mental Health Foundation
