I take it personally....
The Bible was written to tell the story of God’s love for me. Throughout the Bible God provides lesson after lesson; example after example; and sacrifice after sacrifice to express His love towards me. He created me in His very own image in hopes that I would worship Him (and Him alone) of my own free will.
God never promised a problem-free journey, but He did promise to guide me through and walk with me along the way. The Bible is His love letter to me (and those who believe). In it, I find examples of how I should live and words of encouragement fit for each day.
1 John 1:4 says this, “And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.”
I take it personally....
Joy can be defined as a deep sense of happiness and contentment that arises from meaningful experiences and connections.
I take it personally... I find joy when I experience God’s presence. I encounter joy when I connect with Him on a personal level. Even when I don't agree with the assignment or understand the plan, I seek God's Full Joy.
As I read God’s love letter to me, I realize that a joyful journey can only be experienced through the eyes of an all-mighty, all-powerful, all-knowing God.
I take it personally....I read the letter. I experience a joyful journey.
