It's Mind Right Monday....How's Your Resolution Coming?
Welcome to 2025, Day 34! According to a Forbes Health poll the top five New Year's resolutions for 2024 centered on ways to improve physical health, mental health, or finance.
While those are great goals to set, the survey also suggests that resolutions only lasts two to four months before goal-setters give up or forget about it.
This year, I decided to do something different. Instead of resolutions and setting goals, I dedicated the month of January to Introspection—the examination or observation of my own conscious thoughts and feelings.
For me, this included 5am wake-ups (which was the biggest sacrifice—I'm NOT a morning person), Bible reading, scripture meditation, prayer, fasting, journaling, more reading, asking questions, and personal confrontation.
My word for the year—UNDERSTANDING! To be honest, 2024 was a personal world wind, and
I promised myself to begin 2025 from a different perspective. So far—so good!
I know God has a great plan for me. He has a great plan for you too. I thank Him for everyone He’s led into my life to inspire and encourage me. I thank Him for situations and circumstances that have shaped me to be better. And I look forward to all that 2025 has in store.
Whether you've established New Year’s Resolutions, set goals to be a better person, or just winging it, I pray that God allows you to see your full potential and purpose. I pray that you step into all that He’s promised and walk boldly towards your divine destiny.
