You’ve heard people say, “No one is perfect.” That’s true for us—but not true for God. God is perfect.
Psalm 18:30 says this, “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”
It might seem strange that perfection comes packaged in the intangible. We can’t see it or touch it, and on our own we can’t attain it.
By faith, we trust God. By faith, we enter into the realm of the intangible—perfection. Not because we are perfect, but because God is.
Trust offers God’s perfection—a shield. God’s shield of perfection doesn’t mean we won’t experience hardship or lack. It means that God will always be with us through storms, strengthening us along the way.
God’s shield of perfection provides peace in the midst of pain and joy in the midst of turmoil.
Seek perfection—not from man, from God. His way is perfect and His word is proven. He is a shield to those who trust Him.
Trust God. The intangible relm of His perfection offers guidance, peace, strength, and protection.
