Change can be defined as to make something or someone different; to alter; to modify; or to replace something with something else better.
Sometimes, change is a surprise. A Katrina experience changed the destination of a million people.
Sometimes, change is planned. Marriage, children, a degree or a new job creates a new structure and routine.
Malachi 3:6a says this, "For I am the Lord, I do not change..."
No need for God to change—He’s already perfect. We’re not.
Whether orchestrated or imposed, change is designed to make us better, not bitter.
Focus is the key. Let's focus on building a new normal, not our past experience. Let's focus on the future goal, not on the day-to-day grind.
Stay focused. He who changes not has promised to be with us every step of the way. Look to God for strength, wisdom, and direction.
The secret to change is to focus all your energy on not fighting the old, but building the new.—Socrates.
