Success God's Way

July 17, 2026

Hoping for success, many of us have attended educational institutions in efforts to develop an exciting career. Some have attended vocational schools in hopes of obtaining a skill or trade that would provide means to support family. Creatives and entrepreneurs use their natural talent, ideas, and ingenuity to produce wealth. We’re all looking for the same thing—success.

Joshua 1:8 reminds us of this, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

God’s measure of success is different from ours. While education, learned skills, gifts, and talents are wonderful opportunities to achieve great things, our attention and dedication to biblical truth possesses the ultimate key to success.

Today’s reference confirms that our deliberate, consistent approach to the prioritization of Bible reading, meditating, and simple obedience is the bedrock of real success—at least from God's perspective.

We connect with God through His Word. And it is through God’s Word that we develop the understanding and discipline needed to please Him. That, my friend, is the element of good success.

While some possess gifts, degrees, and certifications that others don't, we all have the same opportunity to choose God.

In my mind, the Bible is God’s Love Letters to mankind. Gain success God’s way. Read the Letters.
