Take it Personal:

Make it Personal

· Bible Basics

The Word of God is a Person. He has attributes, character, and purpose. He has influence, structure, and function. He has spirit—He is Spirit, God's Holy Spirit.

The Bible is way different from any other book. For starters, no other book claims God as its author. No other book claims to be “One” with the Creator. The Word of God, is God.

John 1:1-3 says this, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

Read the Letters

The Bible declares God’s Words as supreme authority. From creation to eternity, the Bible is God’s Words in written form. Each book was penned with a specific message and intent.

The Bible increases our understanding about God and reveals Him as Father, Savior and Friend. Face to face, person to person, the Bible proclaims the depths of God’s love as He engages in the lives of mankind. The people and places are real—the names have meanings that provide context and insight.

In my mind the Bible is God’s Love Letters to mankind. Take it Personal: Make it Personal. Read The Letters.
