Fridays are FABULOUS... and so is the Perfect Gift!

Other than one’s birthday, most people look forward to the holidays with Christmas being the most popular as a time to give and receive gifts. Spending hours and days in search of the perfect gift for family, friends, self, and others when participating in gift exchange activities such as Kris Kringle or gift swapping, is quite common. What is the perfect gift one may ask; and what does it look or feel like?

After all the holiday glitz and glam is over and the anticipation of a New Year is on the horizon, does the Christmas gift continue giving you joy, peace, comfort, and purpose? I know of a perfect gift that promises this and much more…

According to James 1:17, “Every good gift and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights.” The gift from God is not temporary; our God gives us The Perfect Gift and if we accept it we’re promised eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Sharing in gift giving during the season is all fun, and encouraged. But also remember… if you’re looking for joy, peace, comfort, purpose and everlasting life, look to God and no other. Thanks are to our God for his inexpressible gift, Christ Jesus!
