According to my thesaurus, the opposite of joy is sorrow. When I think of God I think joy, not sorrow. So I aim to think of God often.

Psalm 5:11-12 says this, "But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield."

When I seek God, He hears me. When I trust God, He answers. Those are reasons to rejoice and shout for joy. God never fails and He won’t fail me.

God is always with me and I am grateful. Confirmation of His goodness is every before me and I celebrate. With great expectation, I look forward to His blessings and favor.

I am joyful in the Lord. I think God. I think Joy.
