Treasure Galore....

September 11, 2025

The Bible is filled with treasures. I can’t explain it, but the Word of God has the ability to change me in ways I will never imagine.

Reading the Bible helps me to understand what God is like; teaches me what’s right and what’s wrong; and helps me to See ME as God Sees ME.

Psalm 31:24 says this, “Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

This verse raising the following questions in my mind, “What does courage have to do with hope?”; “How does God strengthen my heart?; and “What does it really mean to hope in the Lord?”

If I’m honest, even as an adult, I sometimes experience worry amidst frightening situations. The Bible reminds me to be of good courage—stand strong against obstacles that provoke worry, panic, anger, and anxiety.

In my mind, the Bible provides affirmation of God’s perspective. Reminders of God’s promises deliver a boost of spiritual energy that helps me to move forward even when the road is rough. Like fuel to fire the Word of God ignites me to dig deeper and stretch further.

Hope is my search for God’s hidden treasure. I may not see it right away. I won’t always know where it is or how it will manifest itself. But I trust and believe that God has treasure stored up and waiting for me to find. Striving for a positive mind and a humble heart, I keep searching.

Every step I take towards God’s perspective draws me closer to something wonderful —courage, strength, peace, love, forgiveness, grace, mercy, wisdom, understanding, and blessings—treasure galore.

I See ME As Hopeful....In search of God's treasure.
