It’s Mind Right Monday: Are you better or worse?
Today marks week two of our "Increasing Faith" series. As we continue to highlight women who were called out by Jesus Christ for having great faith, we encourage you to consider your own faith level and go-to resources for difficult times.
This week’s example, “the woman with an issue of blood” is recorded by three different writers: Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34; and Luke 8:43-48. These passages provide three opportunities for us to read, review, and regurgitate on how to handle personal issues.
Two of the passages (Mark and Luke) tell us that the woman had spent her livelihood (financial resources) on physicians with so-called cures, but she was getting worse.
Who do you turn to, when life is turning you? Are you better or worse?
After giving her all to those who couldn't help, this woman went to Jesus—who was likely her last hope.
Increase Your Faith: Consider your sources for the issues in your life. Go to Jesus first. He has the power to make it better.
