Now ya’ll know math is not my strong suit, but I do remember the common denominator. In short a common denominator is something that has a shared trait.

Joshua 2:3-12 says this,
So the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, “Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the country.” Then the woman took the two men and hid them…. Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof, and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you….. Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the Lord, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father’s house, and give me a true token, and spare my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.”
Rahab was a harlot, a prostitute, a woman of the night, she owned a brothel. Most importantly, she was open to God’s plan even though those around her feared the outcome. She stepped outside of her comfort zone and did something different. She believed God. And God rewarded her for her faith.
In my mind the Bible is God’s Love Letters to mankind. Others have believed God in dire circumstances—so can you. Read the Letters.
