Environmentalist

· Her Life My Example

My google search of the word describes a person who considers that environment, as opposed to heredity, has the primary influence on the development of a person or group.

Proverbs 31:17 She girds herself with strength, and strengthens her arms.

In my mind, the Virtuous Woman is environmentalist because she encircles (girds) herself with friends, activities, and tools necessary to build moral character and Godly wisdom. She sets boundaries that stimulate spiritual growth and positive thinking.

In my mind, she is an environmentalist—not in the sense of her physical location but her inner compass. The Virtuous Woman surrounds, supports, and sustains herself with attitudes, people, and things that cultivate and procreate strength.

Take a look at your environment—the people you hang out with, what you listen to, what you read, what and watch on television, and what you think. Then, ask yourself one question…Does my environment promote an atmosphere that builds strength?
