Growing up, I’d hear my father say things like, “Always do your best” and “Make sure you represent this family well." He always knew when I hadn’t done my best. I can still hear him say, "You can do better than that."
To my surprise, those words helped to generate a work ethic and standard for excellence that's higher than most.
Proverbs 31:19 “She perceives that her merchandise is good, and her lamp does not go out by night.”
The Virtuous Woman is all about excellence. She works long, hard hours to ensure that she delivers quality products. Her actions display a willingness to always do her very best and to represent her family well. Likewise, she teaches her children to walk in excellence.
