More often than not, we think too much about what people think of us and not enough about what God thinks of us.

This week, I choose to remember what God said and believe Him.

Jeremiah 29:11 is a familiar verse that reminds me of God’s thoughts. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

God thinks about me in a good way.

God's thoughts are designed to instill peace, bring hope, and establish my future.

While people’s thoughts of me may be based on my flaws, God thinks about me in the best possible way.

To be honest, it’s difficult for me to wrap my head around the fact that God really thinks about me. Truth is, that's what faith is all about. Though I may not be able to see my finished product, I choose to consider God’s plans for me and set my mind on His view for my unknown.

I choose to remember what God said and believe Him.
