God Sees Me

· God Sees Me

For years, I’ve heard people say, “God will never give you more than you can handle”. That’s not true. I think He gives us what we can’t handle so that we can look to Him to handle things for us.

The woman in today’s scripture was living under extremely difficult circumstances and it wasn’t her fault. She was so distressed, that she ran away from home. At the brink of death, she called on the name of the Lord.

Genesis 16: 13 says this, She answered God by name, praying to the God who spoke to her, “You’re the God who sees me! Yes! He saw me; and then I saw him!”

God saw her and He sees me. He always has and He always will.

As I conclude our series, I See ME as God Sees Me, I’m reminded that I am created in the image of an Almighty God. He sees me. He knows me by name. I was created to give glory to God. Even when I fall outside of His will, He waits from me to return.

I’m not perfect, but I am grateful. I’m grateful for God’s love, His mercy, His grace, and most of all for His forgiveness. As I continue to strive towards a life that pleases God, like the woman in the difficult situation I will call out to God for help, asking for direction, forgivness, and knowing that God Sees ME.

More than anything, God Sees ME As Forgiven and I See Me As God Sees ME—Forgiven too.

I See ME as God Sees Me! I See ME As hopeful, grateful, forgiven, and a woman of Godly character.
