It’s Mind Right Monday….How do I look?

Recently, I heard a sermon that really made me think. The pastor referenced a common exchange between himself and his wife. He went on to share that every time they left their home, she’d often ask him, “How do I look?” I’ve ask to same question of my husband.

The pastor when on to say, that his wife deeply valued his opinion. And because she trusted his perspective, she searched for validation that her outward appearance was always in order.

Then, came the question—Have you ever asked God, how you look?

For me, birthdays are an opportunity to celebrate and thank God for all He has done. This year, I’m also taking the time to ask God, “How do I look?” This time, I'll wait for His response.
