This week we will focus on healthy eating. Just as with other health and wellness activities, moderation is an extremely important aspect of self-care.
Understanding how carbs, proteins, and vegetables work together to provide needed nutrients for our bodies is the first step to becoming strong and healthy.
As kids, we were taught to eat our veggies. That instruction continues to holds true well into adulthood.
As we age, our bodies become a result of our habits—whether they’ve been healthy or not. Healthy eating guards us against sickness and disease.
It’s ok to enjoy food, just do it in moderation.
