I need light—and lots of it!
Have you ever gotten dressed, made up your face, combed your hair, left the house, and as soon as you had proper lighting, realized that something was wrong? Not because you didn’t check, but because better lighting revealed what you couldn’t see before. I hate that….
My home has lots of windows. Curtains and blinds are minimal and window treatment is sparse. It’s because I need light.
Psalms 119:105 says this, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
The Bible has perfect lighting. The Bible sees what we can’t. Illuminating the way, the Bible sheds light on the hidden things to help us see what's best and which way to go. Revealing the good, the bad, and the ugly, the Bible brings us face to face with truth.
There's no need to fear darkness when light is available. When a person knows the truth they have the opportunity to choose wisely, make proper adjustments, and be appropriately prepared for every season.
The Bible shows us what pleases God—LIGHT; and guides us towards accomplishing His will for our lives—more LIGHT. We need that LIGHT!
In my mind, the Bible is God’s Love Letters to mankind. Walk in the Light. Read the Letters.
