Sisters Inspiring Sisters (SIS) is an opportunity for women to share in the successes and contribute in the support of other women.
Most of you will remember the 90's sit com (Sister...Sister) of twin girls who were adopted by seperate familes at birth. Today's post pays homage to the relationships of twin sisters and a reminder to be kind to your fellow sisters.
Growing up with lots of sisters, I remember my mother's voice saying things like, "be nice to your sister" or "that's your sister. Don't be mean to her".
The book of Proverbs declares that a Virtuous Woman is kind. Chapter 31, verse 26 says this, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.”
This Proverbs 31 Sister (The Virtuous Women), reminds us that kindness is a choice. Kindness is a wise move. Kindness is an opportunity to influence others from a Godly perspective.
Regardless of what others do, our response can always demonstrate friendliness, generosity and consideration—especially to your fellow sisters.
Let’s follow our sister's example by expressing words that bless and exhibiting behaviors that support your fellow sisters every day.
Be intentional. Be deliberate. Be kind. Treat ever sister like a sister.
SIS: Be Kind To Sisters—EVERY DAY!
