Sisters Inspiring Sisters (SIS) is an opportunity for women to share in the successes and contribute in the support of other women.
Unity is defined as the state of being united or joined as a whole; oneness; a whole or totality as combining all its parts into one; not being multiple; the quality of being one in spirit, sentiment, purpose, etc.; harmony; agreement; concord; uniformity.
Most of us have either heard or spoken familiar phrases like, ‘united we stand, divided we fall’; ‘a three cord string is not easily broken’ or ‘two heads are better than one’.
Each of these statements speaks to the benefits of working together and being on one accord.
Psalms 133:1 reminds us of this, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
We were designed for each other—to help and offer support for one another. The heart of God’s intentions was to establish relationships that expressed the very essence of love and respect.
SIS, let's get back in line. Let's go back to the basics by walking in support of and for the benefit of each other and behold how good and pleasant it is.
