Change My Mind

June 11, 2025

It’s possible to be off base and not even know it. Not necessarily in a bad way, but outside of God’s perspective.

Someone recently reminded me of the importance of inviting the Holy Spirit in to lead and guide us in every situation. Otherwise, my thought process can be off base—outside of God’s perspective.

In my mind, the Holy Spirit is the mind of God. He is my teacher and guide. He will lead me into all truth, even the truth about myself.

Philippians 2:4-5 says this, “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”

As I continue my focus on change, today’s verse reminds me that I need to change my mind—not from one human perspective to another human perspective, but to the mind of Christ.

The mind of Christ not only looks to His own interests, but to the interests of others.

The mind of Christ is focused on the things of God, not the things of the world.

The mind of God focuses on being renewed and transformed.

The mind of Christ is set to accomplishing the will of God.

Today, I invite the Holy Spirit in to change my mind.

Holy Spirit, change my mind. Cause me to not be conformed my own thoughts, but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind.

Holy Sprit, change my mind. Help me to focus on pleasing God and walking in a way that brings glory to His Holy Name.

Holy Sprit, change my mind. Teach me how to turn my thoughts towards all that is good and righteous.

Holy Spirit, change my mind. Show me the error of my ways and lead me in the path of God's choosing.

Holy Spirit, change my mind. Forgive me of my secret sin and instruct me so that I can think God-thoughts.

Holy Spirit, change my mind.
